PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an integrated backscatter(IB) value by a simple constitution in an ultrasonic diagnostic equipment capable of obtaining the IB value. SOLUTION: In an autocorrelator 34 acting at lag 0, the power of an input signal is calculated by calculating the autocorrelation of each input signal. The average value of the power is calculated at an averaging circuit 44, while at an operation section 40 a calculation to normalize the integration value of tissue power by the integration value of blood power is carried out, thereby obtaining an IB value. The operation section 40 has also a function to calculate a width of cyclic variation of the IB value. A comparator 38 is a circuit that permits the power integration in a given or more speed. A comparator 46 is a circuit that permits the power integration in case of power of a given or more magnitude of the power. |
