PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming device having an original receiving tool which can hold a wide-width and long-length original with well-balanced regardless of the size thereof so that it does not slip down from an original supply plate even in the case that it is the original which can be taken up in a roll state or which cannot be taken up in a roll state. SOLUTION: The original supply plate 2 is protrusively arranged at the upper front side of a device main body 1. Besides, a pair of original receiving tools 10 holding the long-length original is arranged at the upper part of a paper ejection port 4 and in the lower space of the plate 2 so that it can be moved in the width direction of the plate 2. The tools 10 are provided with semicylindrical parts 15 receiving and holding the roll-like original or a paper tube 14 for taking up the original by opposing them each other.
