PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dialing method in a communication unit with high operability, where an access code such as a telephone number is included in display information received via a network and the access code is utilized to simply conduct dialing without troublesome operations. SOLUTION: When a communication unit accesses an automatic answering telephone service center (S102), the unit receives display information (S104), and when the display information includes a telephone number of the automatic answering telephone service center, a display section displays this number. Furthermore, when dialing is made by a single action in this state, the displayed telephone number is sent to a network to conduct connection processing (S108, S110) to the automatic answering telephone service center. When the automatic answering telephone service center answers the call (S112), the unit receives and stores a message sent from a automatic answering telephone service center (S114).
