摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical head device in which the intensity distribution of a beam can be adjusted, which can be miniaturized and which can adjust the intensity distribution of the beam in a laser unit by providing a simple constitution which is turned around the optical axis of a semiconductor laser. SOLUTION: In this optical head device, a semiconductor laser 1 is attached to a holder 11a which can be turned in a θx direction and a θy direction. In addition, the rotation center of the holder 11a is designed so as to agree with the center of the light emitting point of the semiconductor laser 1. The central axis of a light beam which is incident on an objective lens 6 is deviated from the central axis of the objective lens due to the mechanical dimensional error, the mounting error or the like of every component. As a result, the spherical holder 11a to which the semiconductor laser 1 is attached is turned to the θx direction and the θy direction, and the peak point of the distribution intensity of the light beam is adjusted so as to agree with the central axis of the objective lens, By this constitution it is possible to obtain a favorable effect that the dimension of the optical head device can be reduced.
