PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frictional agitation joining device capable of excellently controlling the generation of a joining defect and the generation of distortion in a formed body after joining even in the case of joining many materials to be joined by frictional agitation. SOLUTION: A frictional agitation joining device 1 is provided with a table 3 which holds many works 91 in a butted state and three heads 5, 7, 9 which join the works 91 by frictional agitation. A rotary tool 11 which is transferred along a butted part 93 of the works 91 while rotating is respectively prepared for the heads 5, 7, 9. Each rotary tool 11 is transferred along each butted part 93 while rotating respectively accompanying a transfer of the table 3 in the direction of the arrow A, and four works 91 are simultaneously joined by frictional agitation via three lines of butted parts 93. Thus, the generation of a joined defect and the generation of distortion in a formed body after joining are controlled.
