摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which width of a conductive seal part is different depending on a position and which is improved. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an upper plate in which a transparent upper electrode is formed on a lower part surface, a lower plate 32 in which a transparent electrode intersecting with the upper electrode is formed on the surface opposing to the upper plate, a conductive seal part in which a connection part contacting with the upper electrode is formed in one part, width W4 of a part in which a connection part is formed is wider than width W3 of a part in which a connection part is not formed, and a cell space for filling up liquid crystal between the upper plate and the lower plate is formed, and a conductive base formed on the upper part surface of the lower plate connected electrically to the connection part. In the liquid crystal display device, conductivity for the upper plate electrode is improved by forming the width of a seal part in which a connection part connected to the upper electrode is formed comparatively wider than the other part and control of the cell gap can be made simple by forming the width of a seal part narrower for a part in which the connection part is not formed.
