PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To possess a playing atmosphere so that young generation gather by providing a pointer in addition to a long hand and a short hand, and giving various functions such as a bodily signal which is different from the purpose of an alarm clock. SOLUTION: For instance, a wristwatch 1 is provided with a pointer 15 which is moved when a crown 3 is pushed up and rotated. The pointer 15 is made longer than a long hand 8, for instance, given a width, and is made attractive by giving it a design of a minute animation character or the like. When a time indicated by the long hand 8 and a short hand 9 reaches another time indicated by the pointer 15, an electronic sound is issued, a melody is played, the body is vibrated, or display is performed on a liquid crystal panel and a signaling is performed. When a crown 2 is pushed up, the signal is stopped. By moving the pointer 15 to depress the crown 2, it may be arranged to issue the electronic sound in conformity with the movement of the long hand 8 and the short hand 9. The time in the Edo period, azimuth table and other displays may also be shown. In addition, it may be used as various kinds of portable timepieces, a table clock or the like.
