PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual film wind type camera by which the proper amount of film can be fed regardlessly of the operational speed of a film wind lever. SOLUTION: This automatic film wind type camera constituted so that the film 22 without perforations can be wound one by one frame by operating the film wind lever 2 is provided with a count means for counting the number of pulses generated by a pulse generation means 12 according to that the film is fed by the lever 2, a pulse number correction means for correcting the number of reference pulses set corresponding to the proper feeding amount of the film 22 based on the judged result of a film feeding speed judgement means for judging the feeding speed of the film based on the pulse, and a release means for releasing the engaged state between the lever 2 and a spool 20 when the corrected number of reference pulses and the counted number of pulses counted by the count means are matched with each other.
