PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely reduce the number of the input/output signals in a control part in the conduction controller of electric load, which is provided with a function detecting abnormality occurring in the plural current supply routes of electric load. SOLUTION: An electronic controller for vehicle 1, which controls the conduction state of respective excitation coils LA-LD in a step motor, is provided with a signal section circuit 31 inputting respective control signals SA-SD outputted from CPU 3 to the respective excitation coils LA-LD and the monitor signals MA-MD showing the actual conduction state of the respective execution coils LA-LD by the respective output circuits 5, selecting one of the monitor signals MA-MD based on the control signals SA-SD and outputting it to CPU 3. Thus, CPU 3 inputs one monitor signal corresponding to the control signals SA-SD outputted to the respective output circuits 5 even if a special signal for selecting the monitor signal is not outputted, and it can judge from the monitor signal whether or not abnormality is generated in the current supply route of the pertinent excitation coil.
