PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a cooling effect by arranging a blower between a compressor and a base so as to be opposed to a bottom of the compressor. SOLUTION: A machine room 2 is formed rear of a lower part of a refrigerator body 1. In the room 2, a blower 4 for cooling a compressor 3, a vapor pan 5 or the like for evaporating a defrosted water flowing down from an evaporator through a drain pipe are disposed. An equipment chamber cover 6 having a plurality of exhaust holes 6a is mounted at a back surface opening. The blower 4 is opposed to a bottom of the compressor 3, arranged between the compressor 3 and a base 8 by utilizing a plurality of elastic supports 7 for supporting the compressor 3, and a condenser 9 is provided by utilizing a space between the pan 5 and the base 8. Thus, the compressor 3 can be efficiently cooled. Since the compressor 3 can be efficiently cooled, its air supply amount may be low. Since a low speed blower 4 can be used, its noise is reduced.
