PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveform data retrieval device which can shorten the retrieval time. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a waveform data storage part 1 which stores voltage waveform data, wherein the contact make/break operation of a switching device to be retrieved is recorded, a waveform data division part 2 which divides the waveform data equally by a specific division number (n) into blocks, a retrieval range determination part 3 which investigates the end-point data of each block in order from the head block and determines a block whose end-point data exceeds a target value for the first time as a retrieval range, and a target value exceed point retrieval part 4 investigates point data in the retrieval range in order and determines as a target retrieval value rising point data stored, when the target value is exceeded for the first time.
