PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely inhibit succeeding storage of a dial signal to a redial memory, even when an opposite party replies a call in a state where ring back tone was not head even once. SOLUTION: A communication terminal is provided with a control section 6, that controls storing a dial signal sent from a dialing circuit 7 to a communication channel 1 where a redial memory section 8 is dialed to, and when the control section 6 receives a detection signal denoting off-hook from a handset switch 9, the control section 6 brings the redial memory section 8 to a storage enable state, stores a dial signal corresponding to a dial key number received from an operation switch section 10 to the redial memory section 8. When the control section 6 receives a loop inversion signal detecting polarity inversion of a loop current from a loop inversion detection circuit 2, the control section 6 inhibits succeeding storage of the dial signal to the redial memory section 8.
