PURPOSE: A device and method for alarming in power supply error of remote subscriber transmitting device are provided to effectively monitor a malfunction of a power supply unit of remote subscriber transmitting device by enabling manager to directly monitor the malfunction via terminal. CONSTITUTION: A subscriber transmitting device divided into a home station device installed within a telephone exchange and a branch station device installed oppositely to the home station device. A processor(2) monitors an alarm for power supply malfunction input from the branch station via communication channel between processors, and displays as an application terminal when an alarm generates. An open ground connecting part(4) performs operation of on/off according to malfunction state of the power supply unit. A power supply malfunction sensing part(5) outputs an alarm for power supply malfunction by taking over a system power supply with self module power when sensing a malfunction state of the power supply unit according to the on/off state of the open ground connecting part. A confront station communicating part(6) transmits the alarm to the processor of the home station device via the communication channel between processors.
