PURPOSE: An audio service method of mugunghwa satellite receiver is provided to serve an audio service without adding a new hardware when new audio service is provided from a transmission station. CONSTITUTION: An audio service method of mugunghwa satellite receiver comprises steps of: receiving a PAT(program association table) and a PMT(program map table) to register them in a program; demuxing them on the basis of video and audio PID to embody a motion picture; re-receiving the PAT and PMT if audio group number is input to determine the presence of the audio group number; generating error message if the audio group number isn't and then terminating; and registering to the program as a new name if the audio group number is, and then repeating the demuxing step.
