DART THROW-IN DEVICE IN CONVERTER

PURPOSE: A dart throw-in device in converter is provided which closes steel tap hole when steel tapping is completed to control the discharge of slag. CONSTITUTION: The dart throw-in device in converter comprises: (i) a fixed frame(10) and a tilting unit(11) hanged on any position of the fixed frame(10): (ii) a hanger beam(12) being kept off from the tilting unit(11) with certain interval and extended from the fixed frame(10); (iii) an extension frame(17) having a tilting bracket(14) fixed on the hanger beam(12), a lance(15) transferring the dart and a guide frame(16) guiding the lance(15); (iv) a running unit(18) transferring the lance(15) along the guide frame(16); and (v) a driving portion(19) comprising a lance driving motor(25) loaded in the guide frame(16), two sprockets(26)(26a) installed on both ends of the guide frame(16) and a chain(27) connecting the each sprocket and being wound up along the guide frame.
