Systems for determining the shape and roundness of cylindrical bodies are disclosed, along with computer program products for determining these properties. The systems utilize lasers which contact the surfaces of the cylindrical bodies such that laser beams reflect therefrom. The systems also include means for manipulating the laser beams to ultimately determine the shape and roundness of the cylindrical bodies. |
