<p>The invention relates to a method for the treatment of organic waste, using waste containers (4) that are emptied at regular intervals, and humus production units (8). The organic waste is accumulated in the storage compartment (13) of the waste container by leading it via a flow duct system (10). At least part of the fluid, such as water, contained in the organic waste is separated in the storage compartment (13) of the waste container. The contents of the storage compartment (13) of the waste container are transferred at regular intervals to the humus production unit (8), wherein decomposition of the organic waste is started advantageously in the storage compartment (13) of the waste container.</p> |
