PURPOSE: An internet advertising system using stand-by time is provided to resolve an inconvenience such as the decrease of a velocity by an advertisement by seeing a previously received advertising document during a stand-by time. CONSTITUTION: A user transmits and receives files during a using of an internet, or accesses other pages during a using of the internet(101). It is judged as to whether the internet is a stand-by state. An advertising document is displayed on a screen when the internet is the stand-by state(102). The internet document searching service is continuously performed, and an advertising document is received and stored in a personal computer when the internet is not the stand-by state(103).
