PURPOSE: A TV and a method for controlling a studying mode are provided to improve a studying effect by performing the appropriate studying mode for a level watched a broadcasting program. CONSTITUTION: A TV having a studying mode comprises of a storing unit of studying information(3) stored a studying information for age according to a grade of program, and a control unit(6) to output in an OSD(on screen display) on a screen by seizing the grade of program broadcasting at present according to an ID of program output from an ID decorder of program(2) and by reading the studying information corresponding to the grade of program from the storing unit of studying information. Thereby the TV having the studying mode has the effect to maximize the studying efficiency by outputting the studying information fit for a level of a watcher regardless of a change of broadcasting program. |
