PURPOSE: An interface unit of a mobile communication terminal is provided to form an interface between a cellular phone and a computer without a cable. CONSTITUTION: An interface unit of a mobile communication terminal comprises a computer(200) having a serial I/O port(201) and a cellular phone(100) having an outer I/O port(101). The cellular phone comprises an encoder(102) for converting an output data to an infrared radio data, an IrDA(Infra structure red Data Association) port(104) for receiving the infrared radio data, and a decoder(103) for converting the infrared data. The computer comprises an EIA-232(205) for converting a serial data to a general logic level, an encoder(202) for converting the general logic level to an infrared radio data, an IrDA port(204) for receiving the infrared radio communication data from the cellular phone, and a decoder(203) for converting the infrared radio communication data to the serial data.
