MELODY DOWNLOAD SYSTEM FOR REPLACING AUDIBLE RINGING SIGNAL OR BUSY SIGNAL

PURPOSE: A melody download system for replacing an audible ringing signal or a busy signal is provided to convert the audible ringing signal or the busy signal of simply repeated mechanical sounds into a melody or a specific sound by downloading the melody or specific sound from a server storing musics to a receiver. CONSTITUTION: A specific melody stored in a melody storing unit(60) of a music server is transferred to a telephone memory(50) when a user connects to a music server and then inputs a signal. If a user makes a phone call to the other side using a telephone set, the other side can hear the specific melody stored therein in stead of an audible ringing signal or a busy signal. The telephone set doses not output the audible ringing signal or the busy signal transferred from a telephone office, but downloads the melody from the music server in order to store it in the telephone memory(50) and then allows a user to hear the music.
