<p>PURPOSE: A locking device is provided for use in any place where the locking device is needed by enabling a key to be equipped/taken off in a locking releasing position. CONSTITUTION: In a locking device, a slider(18) having a long and thin channel(16) where a revolving member(6) is fixed is mounted at a bottom of a housing(2) to be slid. In the slider(18), a hanging member(20) hung over a fixing frame of a door or something like that is fixed by a screw or is welded. A guide plate(22) for moving the slider(18) lengthwise is fixed on the bottom of the housing(2) in a specific interval for enabling a slider to be slid. Between the bottom of the housing(2) and the guide plate(22), a spacer(24) is located to maintain a specific interval not to give resistance to a sliding action of the slider(18). By the constitution, if a cylinder(28) is rotated, a hanging rod(30) rotating together is located in a slot(26) so the slider(18) moves to a locking releasing position or to a locking position according to the rotation direction of the cylinder.</p> |
