PURPOSE: A heat exchange pipe of a heat exchanger is provided to improve the heat exchanging efficiency and to reduce the generation of frost by extending the contact area of a heat exchange pipe with air as well as by reducing fluid resistance when the air passes. CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger is composed of a heat exchange pipe(2) flowing a heat medium and plural heat radiating fins(4) combined to the heat exchange pipe. The heat exchange pipe is constituted of a long axis and a short axis at a ratio of two to one and the long axis is arranged in the transverse direction. The heat exchange pipe having an elliptical section generates the exfoliation of air less than a heat exchange pipe(2) having a perfect circular section. Therefore, the air smoothly passes by reducing the fluid resistance when the air passes the heat exchanger and the contact area of the heat exchange pipe with the air is extended to improve the heat exchanging efficiency.
