PURPOSE: An automatic device for selecting an input signal is provided to automatically select an input signal even without the additional mode conversion. CONSTITUTION: An automatic device for selecting an input signal is composed of an input unit(15) for inputting an image signal from an external apparatus and inputting the received TV signal, a switching integrated circuit(25) for outputting one signal to display after selecting among the output of the input unit, a synchronous detection unit(45) for detecting a synchronous signal from the external image signal and a micro computer(35) for controlling the output of the switching integration circuit based on the detection of the synchronous detection unit. Herein, the microcomputer inputs a vertical synchronous signal, senses whether the vertical synchronous signal is normally detected for a certain time, and outputs a control signal to the switching integration circuit for the selection of the external image signal. |
