PURPOSE: A circuit for processing video signal of plasma display panel TV is provided to reduce a power consumption by correcting a brilliance data and performing an automatic picture limit. CONSTITUTION: A circuit for processing video signal of plasma display panel TV comprises a synchronization division portion(100), a first converter(500), a field memory(400), a control portion(300), a brilliance correction portion(600), a second converter(700), and color signal conversion portion(800). The synchronization division portion separates a synchronous signal from an analog brilliance signal. The first converter converts the analog brilliance signal to a digital brilliance signal. The field memory stores the digital brilliance signal. The control portion controls all operations of a system. The brilliance correction portion corrects each value of the brilliance data. The second converter converts an analog C signal to a digital UV signal. The color signal converter converts the corrected digital signal and the UV digital signal to an RGB signal. |
