PURPOSE: An apparatus for detecting a slope and a vehicle speed using a gyro and an acceleration meter is provided to prevent a slope error. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for detecting a slope and a vehicle speed using a gyro and an acceleration meter comprises a slope extraction portion(20), an azimuth extraction portion(60), an acceleration extraction portion, a slope prediction portion(30), a vehicle speed extraction portion(50), and a three dimensional navigation operation portion(70). The slope extraction portion detects a slope signal of a vehicle. The azimuth extraction portion detects an azimuth signal of the vehicle. The acceleration extraction portion detects an acceleration signal of the vehicle. The slope prediction portion corrects the slope signal. The vehicle speed extraction portion detects the corrected vehicle speed. The three dimensional navigation operation portion detects navigation information.
