COMMUNICATION EXCHANGE DEVICE WITH FUNCTION FOR SELECTIVELY CONVERTING AUDIBLE RINGING SIGNAL AND BUSY SIGNAL

PURPOSE: A communication exchange device with function for selectively converting an audible ringing signal and a busy signal is provided to convert the audible ringing signal and the busy signal of simply repeated mechanical sounds to a melody and certain sound stored in a music server of the communication exchange apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A communication exchange apparatus(10) corresponding to a user receives a melody or certain sound from a music server(40) in stead of the audible ringing signal and the busy signal and thereby transmits them to the user, if a communication exchange device(80) of the other side sends the audible ringing signal and the busy signal to the communication exchange apparatus(10). A control unit(50) performs the conversion operation using a CPU(30). A music server(40) stores the melody and certain sound.
