Coating process for increasing the surface friction of an article made of polyolefin resin

Polyolefin articles may have surfaces which are slippery. The invention provides a process by which a friction increasing material is introduced onto the surface of a polyolefin article in order to increase surface friction. The process comprises (i) forming a body from a polyolefin resin; (ii) applying particulate olefinic resin to a surface of said body at a temperature such that said particulate olefinic resin fuses to said body; and (iii) optionally forming said body into a desired shape.
