PURPOSE:To detect a location zone of the own station automatically in a short time without providing any special devices and being influenced by any temporary environmental changes for the radio system of a small zone system in which areas where plural mobile stations move are covered by plural radio base stations. CONSTITUTION:A mobile station device is provided with a raw data receiving log table 2e and error correcting data receiving log table 2h. The receiving condition of base station locating signals which the codes of '1' and '0' demodulated by a modem 2c are directly decoded is stored in the former time sequentially for respective base stations, and the receiving condition of the base station locating signals for which the codes are subjected to the error correction and decoded is stored in the latter time sequentially for respective base stations. A zone detecting part 2i compares the receiving conditions stored in these receiving log tables in the order of the table 2e and 2h, and thus detects the zone in which the own station is located.
