VARIABLE DIFFUSER APPARATUS DEPENDING ON DETECTED TEMPERATURE FROM AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM AND THE SAME

PURPOSE: A variable diffuser apparatus is provided to promote the optimum indoor environment by making air flow in a transverse direction when cooling a room and flow in a longitudinal direction when heating the room. CONSTITUTION: In a cooling mode, control unit drives a motor to move the central axis downward if the air introduced into a room is detected lower than a certain temperature about 20°C by a temperature sensor(8). The end parts of plural blades(4) are placed on a straight line with the end of a curved part on an outer body(1). Therefore, the air exhausted through a duct flows in a transverse direction. Also, the control unit drive the motor to move the central axis upward in a heating mode if the air introduced into the room is detected higher than a certain temperature about 28°C by the temperature sensor. The ends of the plural blades are placed inner than the end of the curved part. Therefore, the air flows in a longitudinal direction through the curved part curved in a longitudinal direction of the outer body.
