METHOD OF CONTROLLING ELECTRONIC EXPANSION VALVE FOR MULTI-AIRCONDITION

PURPOSE: A control method is provided to exactly find the position of an electric expansion valve when working a compressor next time by performing the initialization mode all the times when stopping the compressor to prevent the electric expansion valve from being displaced from the absolute opening position. CONSTITUTION: An electric expansion valve of a multi-air conditioner is controlled by the steps of: positioning an electric expansion valve on the initial position; comparing whether a compressor is worked; maintaining the initial position of the electric expansion valve if the compressor is not worked; controlling the amount of refrigerants by controlling the opening amount of the electric expansion valve according to the temperature, flow and pressure of the refrigerant flowing along a pipe if the compressor is worked; comparing the running state of the compressor again; controlling the amount of refrigerants depending on the indoor environment to improve the efficiency of a cooling cycle; initializing the compressor to maintain the minimum opening of the electric expansion valve if the compressor is stopped; finding the standard position by completely closing the electric expansion valve; and maintaining the minimum opening of the valve to equally compress the refrigerant.
