PURPOSE: A slide-type transmission apparatus is provided to make a worker move a transmission lever only in a straight line by moving a shift fork to each shift position. CONSTITUTION: A cam(40) of a transmission link rotates counterclockwise while a link(46) guided to a cam groove(48) maintains the position if a shift lever is worked counterclockwise. A link(45) guided to a cam groove(49) and a sleeve(41) are moved to right so a shift fork connected to the link(45) as to be shifted to the second step. Also, the links(45,46) and sleeves(41,42) are moved to left as a cam(47) of the transmission link rotates counterclockwise if the shift lever is worked counterclockwise more and more. Therefore, the shift fork connected to the links(45,46) is shift to the third step.
