DEVICE FOR REPLACING OPTICAL HEADER USING SYNCHRONIZING SIGNAL

PURPOSE: A device for replacing optical header using synchronizing signal is provided to optically perform a removal and generation of a header by using a synchronizing signal when changing a header of next node from arbitrary node. CONSTITUTION: A synchronizing signal separation part(10) separates a synchronizing signal and ATM cell in the input data. The separated synchronizing signal is duplicated in a synchronizing signal duplication part(20) and wavelength-converted in a wavelength conversion part(30). A pulse generation part(40) generates pulse corresponding to the number of header based on the wavelength-converted synchronizing signal. A header removal part(50) combines the ATM cell from the synchronizing signal separation part with the pulse from the pulse generation part and removes a header, so that outputs only payload. A header generation part(60) generates a new header to a synchronizing signal from the synchronizing signal duplication part. A cell combination part(70) combines the payload from the header removal part with a synchronizing signal of the synchronizing signal duplication part and the new header of the header generation part.
