PURPOSE: An image control method is provided to adjust broadcast programs for children to prevent children's sight from being weakened. CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer(3) decides if a program ID is a TV-Y or a TV-Y7 signal by checking the detected ID through a program ID decoder(2). If the program ID is the TV-Y or the TV-Y7 signal, the microcomputer decides if an image for children is set. Then, if the image for children is not set, the microcomputer initiates a warning count(CNT) and sets the image for children. Also, the microcomputer outputs control data for adjusting color, brightness, and luminosity to make a soft image. Moreover, the microcomputer outputs white balance control data for adjusting white balance to make the image generally green. |
