PURPOSE: A process for preparing neutral fire-extinguishing liquid is provided to be used for both A grade fire and B grade fire. CONSTITUTION: Neutral fire-extinguishing liquid consists of 33 wt. % of water, 11 wt. %of ethylene, 10 wt. % of phosphate, 7 wt. % of sodium, 3 wt. % of tolytriazole, 6 wt. % of ethoxlylate, 21 wt. % of ammonium salt, 0.3 wt. % of sodium phosphate, 2.3 wt. % of borax, and 13.4 wt. % of others. This liquid is semipermanent, thus, it may not be required to be periodically exchanged, and is also not frozen at -20°C, so that it may exhibit its function at that temperature. In addition, it does not corrode iron, which enables to apply it to an ironic fire extinguisher, and can be co-used for extinguishment of both A grade and B grade fires. |
