PURPOSE: An automatic generation method of source code for program user interface design and the apparatus thereby are to provide various and aesthetic shapes by storing and designing the shape contents of programs. CONSTITUTION: After selecting the kind of a program to design a desired screen(S41), a user selects the shape of a main screen to be displayed(S42) and sets up a detailed design(S43). If the detailed design is determined, a skin for each composition element is set up(S44), and displayed through the preview(S45). It is judged whether the design is desirable(S46). If it is the desired design, a source code and a skin image are generated(S47), and an execution file is generated(S48).
