PURPOSE: An apparatus for reducing the light of the headlight is provided to prevent traffic accident due to the light emitted from the headlight of a vehicle traveling in the opposite side on the road by reducing and compensating the strength of the light of the headlight by the light radiated from the optical fibers arranged in the front glass. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for reducing the light of the headlight includes optical fibers(1,2) mounted on the sections of a front glass, optical fibers(4,5) mounted at the outside of the front glass and optical fibers(6,7 ) mounted at the inside of the front glass of a vehicle for radiating light to across the light from the headlight of an opposite side vehicle thereby compensating the lights of the headlight of the opposite side vehicle by a light curtain, wherein the light radiated from the optical fibers is intersecting with the light from the headlight of the opposite side vehicles for blocking the light from the headlight.
