PURPOSE: A three-way valve is provided to improve the safety by preventing gas leakage with an O-ring-shaped packing on the circumference of a piston valve. CONSTITUTION: A piston valve(40) maintains the neutral state if the pressure of gas introduced from gas containers on both sides is equal. However, the piston valve is slid in a direction pressurizing gas to close a path of a gas inlet hole(31) if the gas is introduced through the other gas inlet hole(31) after a branch pipe valve is opened. That is, the piston valve is moved to left by the gas pressure if the gas is introduced from the right gas inlet hole. An auxiliary valve communicated with a gas path is pushed downward by the gas pressure so the gas as to flow to an outlet hole. A path communicated with the left gas inlet hole is closed by an O-ring installed on a short sill of the piston valve while a lower path is lifted up by the elasticity of a spring so the O-ring as to close the gas path.
