PURPOSE: An ignition device for a lighter is provided to easily ignite gas by the sparks generating at a safety tip by keeping a certain pressure of gas to a gas eruption hole via a nozzle from a gas container and by buffering a part of the pressure of the erupted gas by a buffer prepared on a supporting device. CONSTITUTION: A safety tip(17) generates sparks by a piezoelectric device(16) embedded in an ignition switch(15) by pushing the ignition switch to ignite a lighter. The gas is erupted by a certain pressure from a gas eruption hole(12) by the rising of a nozzle(11) by the operation of a gas eruption lever(13) lifting the gas eruption hole. A part of the gas contacts to one face of the upper parts of a horizontal piece(22a), a protruded pin and a supporting device formed on one upper part of the gas eruption hole. Herein, the erupting pressure is buffered. The sparks is ignited to the buffered gas and fed to the gas via the gas eruption hole. Thereby a lighter is ignited.
