METHOD FOR DISPLAYING VCR CHARACTER SIGNAL

PURPOSE: A method for displaying a VCR character signal is provided to perform simultaneously a reproducing operation and a menu selection operation. CONSTITUTION: A method for displaying a VCR character signal comprises the steps of: inserting a tape; reproducing the tape; determining whether a menu selection key is input, or not; determining whether current reproduction mode is finished, or not if input; duplicating a reproduction signal and a character signal corresponding to the menu and displaying the duplicated signal if not finished; displaying the character signal on a blue screen if finished; and selecting the menu after performing the duplication and the character display.
