PURPOSE: Blue color emitter having a good light emitting effect and brightness characteristics, and an indicator device containing it as a coloring material are provided. CONSTITUTION: The light emitting compound (formula 1; Ar1, Ar2, Ar3, Ar4 and Ar5 are chemical bond or phenyl, naphthalene, anthracene, diphenyl anthracene, phenanthrene, indene, acenaphtene, biphenl, fluorene, caracole, thiophene, pyridine, oxadiazole, oxazole, triazole, benzothiophene, dibenzofuran, or thiadiazole; R1, R2, R3 and R4 are H, ethyleneoxy, C1- C20 alkyl, alkoxy, aryl, trimethyl silyl, trimethyl silylaryl or cyano group) is provided. Thus, N,N-bis(3- methyl phenyl)-N,N'-diphenyl-£1,1'-biphenyl|-4,4'-diamine is vacuum deposited on the glass board and formula 2 is vacuum deposited to give 350 angstrom thickness of light emitter layer. Al-Li is vacuum deposited on the emitter layer to give the title emitting device.
