<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin compsn. which exhibits an excellent deodorizing function for a long term and is applicable for a wide variety of products by compounding an org. resin with an inorg. deodoizer-adsorbent and a titanium oxide photocatalyst coated with an inorg. porous substance. SOLUTION: This resin compsn. is prepd. by compounding an org. resin with a component prepd. by protectively coating a mixture comprising an inorg. deodorizer-adsorbent and a titanium oxide photocatalyst with a porous inorg. substance or by compounding an org. resin with a mixture comprising an inorg. deodorizer-adsorbent and a titanium oxide photocatalyst protectively coated with a porous inorg. substance. The porous inorg. substance is required to have such a strength as not to be broken by an external force applied during coating the catalyst, during compounding into the resin, and during molding. Examples of such a substance are silica, alumina, and silica-alumina.</p> |
