Conversion ki for fluorescent luminaires, replacing electromagnetic ballasts by electronic, comprises new reflector, fixed to original, with replacement ballast and tube holders

With the original tubes removed, their holders (5) are repositioned above the luminaire's reflector panel (1). The original ballast (2) is left in place but disconnected (3). A new base plate (6), to which the new reflector (8) simply clips, is fixed centrally (7) along the original reflector plate. The new reflector carries the replacement ballast (9) above a central section, horizontal when fitted and having two inclined wings carrying new tube holders (10) which accept 16 or 26 mm dia. fluorescent tubes (11). Finally, the incoming mains connections are looped to the new ballast's terminal block.
