The method of folding steel sheet (10) involves gripping the sheet in two jaws (8,9) and folding it to the pre-set angle. A face of the sheet is contacted against a convex surface and folded around an axis passing along the centre of curvature of the convex surface. The folding angle is equal to ninety degrees.
