<p>A magnetic tape cartridge which has its reliability enhanced by preventing a thinned insert guiding portion formed in an opening for guiding a leader pin from being deformed by an impact at a falling time or the like, wherein a cartridge case (4) for rotatably accommodating a single reel on which a magnetic tape (6) is wound is provided, in the opening (10) through which a lead member (5) fixed on the leading end of the magnetic tape (6) is to be brought in and out, the case wall is thinned to form an insert guide portion (21) for guiding the end portion of the lead member (5), and at the edge position of the opening (10) on at least one side of the insert guide portion (21), the case surface is recessed to form a notch portion (22).</p> |
