<p>A hollow fiber membrane cartridge comprising hollow fiber membrane bundles each consisting of a plurality of hollow fiber membranes with opposite ends thereof joined and fixed, a cartridge head fixed liquid-tightly to the outer periphery of one end and a lower ring fixed liquid-tightly to the outer periphery of the other end, wherein the cartridge head and the lower ring are separated from each other without being fixed by connecting, a hollow portion at the cartridge-side hollow fiber membrane end is opened while a hollow portion at the lower-ring-side hollow fiber membrane end is closed, and a plurality of through holes are made in the lower-ring-side joining-fixing layer.</p> |
