The invention concerns a method for making a pad consisting of a slurry, characterised in that it consists in bringing down the temperature of the slurry containing plant products so as to preserve the perishable plant products and their properties and to combine the pad effect with cryotherapy. The invention also concerns the device (D) for applying said pad resulting from said method characterised in that said slurry is placed in a microporous wrapping (100).
