An electromagnetic wave absorber comprises a substrate made from a material which rarely absorbs a microwave and an electromagnetic wave absorbing layer formed on the surface of the barrier of the substrate, the electromagnetic wave absorbing layer is made from a mixture of an electroconductive metal oxide and an insulating material, and the impedance of the electromagnetic wave absorbing layer is adjusted to the impedance of a medium through which the microwave is transmitted such that reflection power ratio becomes 10 dB or more. <IMAGE> |
