The mine-clearing vehicle (VD) has two rollers mounted in front to explode mines, equipment to clear undergrowth and is in communication with a controlling vehicle (VC) through a propriety centimetric UHV radio link. Controlling vehicle receives position data from the mine-clearing vehicle and guides it along paths (TJ1, TJ2) such that tracks made by the rollers (TRA1, TRA2) overlap.
