A Transfer Logic Cell (TLC) circuit performing non-boolean logic elementary operations between a dual-rail input and a dual-rail output upon assertion of signals on at least one control terminal to operate said circuit into one of four logic modes of operation i.e. a 'PASS', 'LEFT', 'CROSS' or 'RIGHT' mode or in one of two non-logic modes i.e. 'ISOLATION' or 'TRANSPARENT' mode or in any subset of combinations of the herein above modes. And a method for assembling a plurality of TLC circuits to carry out logic functions in an array-like structure. <IMAGE>
